Stonehaven welcomed the Continental Market on Saturday and Sunday 4th and 5th July 2009.

The Market Square, was transformed into a bustling market place.

Professional continental market traders from all over Europe wwere selling high quality products, including Tartiflette, cheeses, fresh breads, German Sausage, freshly cooked crepes.

As well as the fine edible goods, you were able to choose from a wide range of products including hand bags & leather items, soaps, lavender and African crafts.

The traders wore their traditional local costume. as well as decorating their stall to represent the area of the country, they have come from.

The market really provided a true flavour of the continent...

The 2010 event will take place on Sat/Sun 26th/27th June

The independent and interesting local shops that are well worth a visit.

You can also enjoy a dining experience in several quality cafes and restaurants and a pleasant drink in the local hotels and bars.
